IBM Delivers Block Storage to the Edge with a Thin Pizza Box

During a refresh of IBM’s FlashSystem storage product line, the company revealed that the new entry-level model supports block storage at the Edge. Although it is part of a much broader IBM Storage launch, this ability of the new IBM FlashSystem 5200 to support edge block storage strongly aligns with IBM’s hybrid cloud strategy.
