Privacy Statement
The Robert Frances Group is committed to preserving your right to privacy.
Please read the following information to understand how your personal information is
collected and treated. In short, any information you give us is held with the utmost
care and security, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.
Visitors
In general, you may visit RFG's Web site without telling us who you are or revealing any
information about yourself. Our web server collects domain names and IP addresses of
visitors which we analyze internally to understand viewer behavior. The information
collected measures the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed,
etc. RFG uses this information to gauge site use and improve content.
Research
We do not require visitors to register before entering the Robert Frances Group Web site.
We do, however, monitor the usage of ids and passwords in our subscription area to ensure
compliance with the terms and conditions of subscriber usage. Terms and conditions of
client Web site usage are expressed in our user contracts. The personal information you
provide us is used only to supply the services you request and is not shared with other
organizations.
Sample and Featured Research
Sample research is freely available, and may be viewed without a subscriber account.
Featured research is available free of charge, but requires a Web site account. If
you do not already have one, you may create an account online and obtain immediate
access to featured research. The information you supply may be used to contact you
to determine whether you require additional information regarding RFG's services. It
will not be used internally for any other purpose, or resold or otherwise distributed
to another party.
Cookies
We use cookies for three reasons:
- To track user pathways through the RFG site in order to improve our site, and
reduce the amount of time users spend looking for research;
- To identify returning users and avoid the need for them to re-type their
username and password;
- To identify individual users at clients to enable us to automatically generate
a monthly report for each client, by user, of site usage, at that client's request.
Cookies are not a requirement for our site to function; you may
disable them in your browser and still obtain full use of the RFG Web site. However,
you will be required to re-enter your username and password each time you access
research material. You may wish to consider enabling your browser's "remember
password" functionality, if available, to make this process easier if you or
your company blocks cookies.
Disclosure
We do not use or disclose information about your individual visits to RFG's Web
site, or information that you may give us, such as your name, address, e-mail
address or telephone number, to any outside parties. If you believe you have
submitted personally identifiable information and would like that information
deleted from our records, please contact info@rfgonline.com
and provide us with the information to delete. We will use reasonable efforts
to purge this information from our existing files.
Third Party Links
The RFG Web site contains links to other Internet sites. We encourage all of our
partners, contributors, and third parties to implement policies and practices that
respect the privacy of our users. However, Robert Frances Group is not responsible
for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.
